YPG: 10 members of Turkish occupation killed in Afrin

The media center of the People Protection Units (YPG) revealed in a statement the outcome of a military operation carried out by their units against the Turkish occupation army on 12 August in Afrin, pointing that 10 elements of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries were killed in addition to wounding 20 others during the operation.

The media center of the People Protection Units released a statement revealing that their units carried out a military operation that led to the killing of 10 soldiers of the occupation army and its mercenaries and wounding 20 others.

The statement said,

"To the public opinion,

In the framework of the second stage of the Resistance of Age in Afrin area and on August 12, our units launched a strong military strike against the Turkish occupation forces and mercenaries who are stationed in Afrin.

Our units detonated two explosive devices under control at a gathering of the Turkish occupation army and mercenaries of al-Hamzah Division on Terenda road in Afrin. The operation resulted in killing 10 soldiers and mercenaries and injuring more than 20 others as some of them got seriously injured. The area has witnessed an intensive hovering of the Turkish drones that lasted for more than 6 hours.

Our fighters who carried out the operation arrived safely at their bases in Afrin area."
