HPG carried out special operation against Turkish army in Başûr, Bakur

HPG's media center issued a written statement on the operations carried out by their forces in different areas of Bakur (north) and Başûr (southern) of Kurdistan.

The statement said that the HPG's fighters targeted on August 13 unit of the Turkish army was stationed on Berzan area in Başûr Kurdistan, and resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier and wounding others, while the Turkish army rushed to recover the injured by helicopters.

On the same day, the Women's Freedom Units - Star targeted a Turkish army military vehicle, which was heading from Gulmerk to Gever area, the operation near Şamşî village and  the vehicle broke down and blow up without knowing the number of dead and wounded.

According to the statement also carried out by HPG on August 14 a military operation against the Turkish army forces launched  in the martyr Munzer hill in Başûr Kurdistan, the operation resulted in the destruction of the fortifications of the Turkish army without knowing the numbers of dead and wounded.

On the same day, a Turkish soldier was killed in an operation carried out by the Women's Freedom Fighters Units against the Turkish army units on Ali Şer hill in Gever district of Gulmerk, and a Turkish soldier killed.

The statement of HPG stated that on August 14 their forces carried out a military operation against the Turkish army on martyr Jan Xourt in Hercul district of Sêrt, the operation that targeted the Turkish army forces from two axes, killing 4 elements of the Turkish army.
