Tirbespiyê people put forward their obstacles, demands on Canton's Council

Tirbespiyê Council held a meeting for the members of the councils, communes, municipalities and residents of the district, in the presence of the co-chairs of the Council Salman Shaikhi and deputies of council Nour Hanna and Rondar Saleh to listen to the demands and constraints of the district people.

The co-chair of Tirbespiyê district Abed al-Rahim Hassou spoke at the meeting and discussed the most important proposals of the district council, specifically, securing seeds for the farmers of the district, and the need to develop a solution for the work of the primary burners that cause the inconvenience to the residents and opening of medical points in the southern villages of the district.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the shortcomings that have emerged during the past months, such as delays in running the affairs of citizens because of the lack of experience of the members of the committees in the council regarding some of the work. Some institutions linked their work to their management in Qamishlo like the financial institution.

The participants criticized the regional committee of the Municipalities Body in al-Jazeera region for not specifying a border for the district which makes it difficult for the residents to build new houses.

During the meeting, there was no economic plan for the district, such as the construction of a commercial market because the district has self-sufficiency in agricultural, commercial and livestock resources.
