People Municipality opened in al-Merkda town

In order to provide services to the people, the Local Administration and Municipalities in al-Jazeera canton opened the People's Municipality in al-Markada town of al-Shadadi district in al-Hasakah canton during a ceremony.

Within the framework of the Local Administration and Municipalities in al-Jazeera canton, people municipality was opened in al-Merkda town today to provide services to the people.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the civil institutions of al-Shadadi, al-Hasakah and dozens of residents of the town.

The opening ceremony began with holding a minute of silence, then a speech was delivered by Hassan al-Ali on behalf of al-Hasakah Canton Council in which he congratulated opining of the municipality and confirmed that it was found to serve the people and conduct their affairs.

Al-Ali said that the responsibility placed on the staff of the municipality is not easy because they will bear the task of promoting the town from the service aspect.

The opening tape was then cut by the martyr's mother, Ahmed al-Zabit, who was martyred while participating in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign in Deir ez-Zor countryside .
