Opening first war-wounded academy in al-Hasakah canton

The War wounded Academy is specialized in the development and training of war-wounded talents, as well as computer literacy, intellectual and political lessons, and the teaching of Arabic and Kurdish language.

The Academy is named "martyr Vian Kobani Academy, began its opening ceremony with a minute of silence, attended by dozens of wounded, their families and members of the military and civil institutions.

At the opening ceremony, the administrator of the Academy of Martyr Vian Kobani, Ageid Shadadi congratulated the opening of the academy to all the families and martyrs. He explained that it will be a new station for the wounded to be active in their society despite their injuries.

"Many people think that when we lose a part of our bodies, we will stop struggling to serve our area, we tell them that we will not stop but will increase our resolve to be more active," he said.

Shadadi stressed that they are following in the footsteps of the martyrs until achieving all their goals in order to build a decentralized democratic Syria.

The opening ceremony was ended with rings of dancing.

It should be noted that this academy is the first of its kind in the al-Hasakah canton.
