221 SDF fighters trained on martial arts

The Martyr Dejwar Afrin Academy ended a training course for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). 221 fighters underwent the training course that was about martial arts by experts in the ranks of SDF.

The academy which is located in al-Kantari village of Selok district included 221 fighters from Deir ez-Zor who joined the Syrian Democratic Forces to liberate their areas from IS, and it was named the Martyr Jumaa Muhammad Humaidan who was martyred in Serê Kanîyê.

The fighters received intellectual and military training in the academy by specialists in SDF as their training lasted for 20 days.

The ceremony was attended by commanders of SDF, People's Protection Units and Coalition Forces.

At the ceremony, the commander Zeradesht Kobanî delivered a speech in which he affirmed the determination of their forces to continue the war against terrorism until it would be eliminated.

Zeradesht Kobanî stressed that SDF fighters are ready to intervene and free any Syrian territory from terrorism in an indication to the readiness of the forces to help the people of Sweida who are still at the hands of terrorism.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the fighters vowed to protect the homeland, and the sweets were distributed to the audience.
