5 Turkish soldiers killed in HPG operations

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) issued on Wednesday a statement to the public opinion and indicated that their forces carried out an operation against a military unit of the Turkish occupation army.

The statement said:

The Turkish occupation army launched a large-scale offensive attack in July 25 on Çemê Kerê area of Berwarî district of Sêrt city. The attack is still continuing. Our forces carried out an operation against the military units that launch the attacks. The operation was carried out in the framework of the revolutionary campaign which was launched on behalf of the Martyr Delal and Besta Martyrs and according to this:

In July 29, at 15:00, the Free Women Units-Star’s forces carried out an operation against the enemy’s soldiers in the Martyr Sorxwîn hill, and dealt the hill strong blows. The operation led to killing 3 soldiers. On the same day at 22:30, the Turkish army picked the bodies of its killed from the area via helicopters.

The Free Women Unites-Star forces dealt the Martyr Sorxwîn hill where the enemy’s soldiers are stationed in strong blows in July 30 at 17:00. The strong blows resulted in killing a soldier of the enemy.

In the context of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army in Deriyê Pêşmerga in Şemzînan district in Colemêrg city in July 31 at 21:30. The operation resulted in killing an enemy’s soldier.

In July 28, the Turkish occupation army launched an attack on Xaçareşê area in Mutka district in Badlis city with the participation of dozens of Contra elements. The attack was foiled in July 31.

In July 31, at 12:15, the Turkish occupation aircrafts raided Heft Tebax area in Garê area of legitimate defense areas (Medya).”
