Akef :Many letters sent to international bodies to nagotiate Syria's crisis

The Center for Diplomatic Relations of Democratic Society Movements (DEM-TEV) on Thursday organized a weekly press conference at its headquarters in Qamishlo city  attended by a number of journalists.

The text of the statement:.

"Today marks the anniversary of the 19 July Revolution, the 19 July revolution that  launched in 2012, and is being  considered for change and transformation towards establishing peace in Syria. In the name of our Center, we congratulate all our people on the sixth anniversary of the revolution of 19 July. We also commemorate on this occasion all the martyrs who have been sacrificed their lives for the sake of building a free society and achieving the freedom of peoples.

SDC 's Conference

In light of the transformations and changes taking place, we believe that the Third Syria Democratic Council  SDC conference has come as an important necessity in order to move towards a solution and build a democratic Syria. We congratulate the success of the conference and wish the Council success in its future tasks.

Situation in Afrin:

The situation in the refugee camps is very difficult till now  and there is no international support for the thousands of displaced from Afrin, the Turkish occupation continues in a systematic way where there is a burning of homes and farms as well as a policy of continuous demographic change, the Turkish state practices its policies far from ethics and international laws in Afrin and the world is still Silent on what Turkey is doing in Afrin and in Syria. Direct support for the Turkish state. We call on the international powers to take their responsible positions on the role and the Turkish policy in Afrin and the whole of Syria. The council in Afrin is an instrument of occupation.

Negotiations:

This week, we sent letters to more than fifteen international bodies, including European, foreign and Arab foreign ministries, international institutions and official bodies, and we presented our readiness to negotiate a solution in Syria, provided there are international guarantees, without international guarantees. Everyone must know that we are open to resolution and dialogue. In our letters, we also demanded the need for a democratic constitution and the need to share the political will of North Syria, that is to say, participation if not of our will.

Situation in Idlib:

"We know that after the end of the battles in the south there are those who deal with the direction of the battle towards Idlib. The situation in Idlib is somewhat complex. We look at the situation there." Idlib is a time bomb that will explode at any moment.
