HPG: 10 Turkish elements killed in Bradust, Dêrsim

The media center of HPG issued a statement, in which it announced the killing of a number of soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, during 2 special operations of their forces in the area of Bradust in Başûr Kurdistan and Dêrsim in Bakur Kurdistan, and it revealed the record of one of its fighters.

The statement noted, "Our forces carried out a special operation from two axes on July 15 against the Turkish occupation forces positioned in the hill of Lêlîkan in Bradust in Başûr Kurdistan, and during the operation, our forces dealt painful blows to the soldiers of the Turkish occupation army stationed on the hill. The operation resulted in killing 8 soldiers."

The statement pointed out that the forces of the Turkish occupation army bombed after the operation Lêlîkan area and the vicinity of Bosnia village with artillery shells and mortars, after which the child Mohammed Marif lost his life as a result of the bombing.

The statement added, "On July 8, the fighter Mervan Farqîn martyred after an accident took place in the vicinity of Dereova village of Qisle district in Dêrsim while he was performing his duties, and after the incident, our forces went on July 9 to the scene of the incident, and monitored a unit of the Turkish occupation army, and then, carried out a special operation, during which they dealt strong blows to the elements of the Turkish occupation army. The operation resulted in killing 2 elements of the Special Forces."

The statement added that the forces of the Turkish occupation army combed and bombed the area with the support of the reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters of ATAK type.

At the end of the statement, HPG denied the claims of the Turkish occupation army about the martyrdom of the fighter Mervan during the combing operation, and described the allegations as false.
