Statement on arresting IS women in al-Raqqa

This came in a statement issued by the media office of the Internal Security Forces of al-Raqqa Square, which stated,
 
"The media misinformation continues to spread rumors about what is happening in the northern areas of Syria, specifically in al-Raqqa. From time to time, they are working to threaten the pillars of security and stability by various means to distort the image of true reality.
 
In the past two days, based on information and intensive efforts done by the General Security Service and the Organized Anti-Crime Division, the Internal Security Forces arrested a number of women in al-Raqqa who have worked in the ranks of IS terrorists formerly, especially in the field of intelligence, some of them from non-Syrian nationalities as they have committed acts that violate the principles and morals of the society and its customs.
 
We in the Internal Security Forces of al-Raqqa Square affirm that women have been arrested for the reasons mentioned above. The internal security forces of women took over this file in coordination with the Social Justice Court. Protecting this society in all its components is our responsibility and the responsibility of every individual who aspires to preserve the security and respect his people and country."
