Turkish occupation looted Afrin's ruins

A source from Badina village belonging to Rajo area told ANHA correspondent that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries looted and stole the antiquities of Sêwiya and Kitix villages belonging to Mobata district "with the aim of obliterate the historical heritage and eradicating heritage."

The source pointed out that the occupation and its mercenaries began a week ago uprooting several olive trees in Sêwiya village from the north overlooking to Badina village near the forest in the village.

The source pointed out that after the uprooting of trees, the occupation dug a specific area with their machineries like bulldozers. According to the source, they found antiquities in the place.

The source confirmed that the occupation army with three battalions of its mercenaries Liwa Mountasar Billah, Liwa Mohammed al-Fateh and Ahfad al-Rasoul are digging the land located at the train station in Kitix behind the Izzat fuel station in conjunction with the looting of all the ruins that are extracted from the region and took it to Turkey.

The occupation army and its mercenaries last month dug the tomb of St. Marmaroun in Brad village belonging to Sherawa district and looted the artifacts in the church, which is a holy place for many of the Maronite Church's followers living in Lebanon and other countries.

In addition, the Turkish occupation destroyed the center of the Yezidis Union in the center of Afrin canton and the bombing of the Zaradeşt statue is considered the first of its kind in the Middle East.
