The Co-chair of Syrian Democratic Council  Elham Ahmed delivered speech during the founding conference of al-Raqqa 's youth, where they expressed their willingness to negotiate a new constitution to end the Syrian crisis.

She said "The fighting is intensifying in Syria, and these battles are aimed at the armed gangs in Daraa through international agreements whether they are American or Russian."

And added "Some of the factions that were present have completed their military action in some areas by handing over their administration and then transferring them to other areas. The process of transferring these groups has the negative consequences of making a demographic change in Syria. "

Elham pointed "What happened on the ground is a response to the policies of the regional countries," she said, adding that "what has happened in these areas is a clear and frank response to all the policies and plots practiced by the regional countries against the Syrian people, so we say that the democratic project is in full swing And will continue to win despite all attempts to end it. "

Added "Many people said that the project is to divide Syria. We say that those who divide Syria are the regional countries that practice policies against the Syrian people, and now what is happening in the areas of Daraa makes this clear."

As for the negotiations with the Syrian regime, Elham Ahmed said they showed their willingness to negotiate on Syria's future to draft a new constitution. "We seek to be the democratic Syria for all Syrians, not for one race, and this is what we seek. Today we see that Turkey and some other countries make statements, We responded to those statements, but there is no readiness for those parties. "

She repeated her willingness to talk and negotiate a democratic constitution to end the Syrian crisis We want stability and security for the Syrian people."

Elham Ahmed said "If the youth are aware and organized, they can move Syria toward a democratic and free program."
