400 olive trees in al-Mahmudli town were neglected during the occupation of mercenary gangs of the town.

In general, the agricultural wealth suffered many hardships, especially during the period of Daesh occupation, which prevented the irrigation of trees, and a large part of them had been cut off.

The olive trees will extend over an area of 14 acres in the west part of the town, which will be rehabilitated with pruning and irrigation.

"This garden has not received any attention and has been neglected over the past few years," said Ali Mohammad, the administrator of Agriculture Office of the Agriculture Council in al-Mahmudli town. "We have done this as an Agriculture Office to retrieve the leaves’ splendor and show the aesthetic side of city and protect the agricultural wealth in the area from drought."
