SDF commander: Al-Dashisha axes will meet within days

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with Shibli Derik on the fighting fronts in rural al-Dashisha, where he said that their forces are still continuing in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign, noting that the campaign’s northern and southern axes will meet within days."

Early in his speech, Shibli Derik said that during al-Jazeera Tempest campaign they liberated many of the villages and hamlets occupied by Islamic State's gangs.

Al-Shibli "We have liberated the most important stronghold of mercenaries in the southern sector of al-Hasakah countryside," he said. "Our campaign continues until cleaning the villages, hamlets and points near the Syrian-Iraqi border are completely cleared and the border is fully secured."

Shibli pointed that they were able to reach the Iraqi border after the liberation Tel- Safok village after the fighting with Islamic State's gangs and added, "The battles continue in the points where Islamic State's gangs stationed and will not rest until the elimination of the last mercenary."

Shibli added, "Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign will witness in the coming days joining the northern and southern axes of al-Dashisha town, and will continue until the last mercenary is eliminated."

Shibli at the end of his speech said that there is a coordination room operation between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Iraqi forces against Islamic State's gangs "We, as Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF) fighters and the Iraqi forces, are following closely the process against mercenaries on both Syrian and Iraqi territories."
