Kedo: It's time for international community to say enough to Erdogan

The Secretary of the Kurdish Left Party Saleh Kedo spoke to ANHA agency about the attacks and threats of the Turkish state and said that Erdogan's threats pose a danger to the Middle East, and all the countries of the world must face Erdogan's dictatorship and his ambitions for occupation.

"Iraq must stand against Erdogan"

Saleh Kedo referred to the attacks of the Turkish state on Başûr Kurdistan and said, "The Turkish state stepped up its attacks on Kurdistan territories and the aim of these attacks is to undermine the gains of the Kurdish people and to break their will. Erdogan seeks through the attacks on Başûr Kurdistan to win the June 24 elections. There is no doubt that there is a project for the Justice and Development Government which is an attempt to reconstruct the Ottoman Empire. The countries of the world are still silent towards the attacks on Başûr Kurdistan, and despite the statements of the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, the Turkish army continues to occupy the lands. Erdogan said that they penetrated 30 kilometers within the territories of Başûr Kurdistan, and the Iraqi government must stand against Erdogan's plans and his entering into the territories of Başûr Kurdistan."

 "The peoples of the Middle East may revolt"

Saleh Kedo criticized the international silence saying, "This international silence about the attacks of the Turkish state makes it clear that they have new plans. As they agreed the occupation of Afrin and stayed silent about the brutal attacks on it, they are also stay silent towards the attacks on Başûr Kurdistan. If the silence will continue, the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on Manbij, Afrin and Başûr Kurdistan will open the way to complicate the problems of the Middle East.

It could also lead to the revolt of all peoples of the Middle East and their standing in the face of the attacks of the Turkish state and the silence of the countries of the world. The Iranian state must also determine its position towards the occupation attacks and block the ways before the attacks. If the green light would be given to Turkey to launch attacks, Iran will be dealt a harsh blow.

Erdogan's plans for Qandil will fail because Qandil is for the Guerilla and it will remain for them. Either the warplanes and the Turkish soldiers will not be able to impact Qandil."

"Their plans in Kirkuk and the occupation of Afrin have been revealed"

"By launching the attacks on Afrin, Erdogan's plans to attack Kirkuk, Manbij and Afrin have been uncovered. He wants to occupy all the territories of Başûr Kurdistan. All of these attacks are linked to each other and have one goal; to break the will of the Kurdish people. Erdogan's threats form a danger on the Middle East, and all the countries of the world must stand in the face of Erdogan's dictatorship and his ambitions for occupation.

"The failure of Erdogan is the victory of all peoples"

"The failure of Erdogan in the June 24 elections will be a great victory for all peoples, especially the peoples of the Middle East," Kedo said. "The dictatorship and the fascist regime will be defeated before the will and unity of the people. Voices are slowly emerging among the Turkish people calling for the revolt because they no longer accept Erdogan's dictatorship.

We hope that the end of Erdogan would be in these elections so that the Kurdish people and the peoples of the Middle East would take a new breath.

"People’s unity will stop the occupation"

The secretary of the Kurdish Left Party Saleh Kedo concluded that Erdogan does not accept the gains of the Kurdish people and Rojava Revolution and he continues his threats. Kedo added, ”The areas that Erdogan means to launch attacks against them are the cities liberated by the fighters of the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) from IS mercenaries. Erdogan's threats are clear: the world must face Erdogan and say "enough", and the people must unite in the four parts of Kurdistan and stand one hand and one vote in the face of the occupation of the Turkish state.”
