Ain Issa market witnesses turnout amid economic prosperity

The market in Ain Iss district witnesses an intensive turnout by the people of the district and its countryside due to the availability of all materials that they need with adequate price.

In Ain Issa, there are shops that meet the needs of the people of all kinds, such as clothes, food and household utensils, as well as a hospital and medical clinics for all specialties.

It is estimated that there are about 110 shops licensed by the municipality in the district, in addition to many groceries located in the secondary streets and neighborhoods.

The prices of the materials and goods witnessed a significant decrease due to closing the district to the commercial cities (Manbij and al-Raqqa), the ration overseeing on goods and controlling the prices."

The reasons of the economic boom in the district according to the administrators are the availability of the security and stability in the area as the Internal Security Forces work on protecting the area and abducting the risk of the Islamic State's gangs after al-Raqqa city which is 60 km far away from the district has been liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Ain Issa district is densely crowded with high population because of the security, stability available in the area and the presence of a large proportion of the displaced there.

In this context, the citizen whose name is Ismail al-Abd, from al-Arsi village in the countryside of Ain Issa said, "The competition among the shop owners and the multiplicity of the shops in the area have positively reflected on the prices of materials.

In turn, the owner of one of the shops Hilal Mohammed said that the prices of goods gradually decrease with the presence of the markets that supply the market of the district with materials in addition to the area's self-sufficiency of some materials, such as vegetables that are sold locally and reduce the wages of transport.

Ain Issa district that is related to Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed canton in the Euphrates region in North Syria is considered one of the important and strategic centers because it is considered a link between al-Jazeera region and Manbij and al-Raqqa areas and others. The district witnessed considerable prosperity within passing trade convoys.
