Why al-Hilwa village people raise white flags before liberation?

Syrian Democratic Forces have liberated al-Hilwa and al-Shamas villages during al-Jazeera Tempest campaign, which was resumed by Syrian Democratic Forces, the people of al-Hilwa told ANHA agency that they were grateful to SDF and said they had hung the white flags before the fighters entered the village.

"We have been suffering from IS mercenaries for years and we have been hanging white flags over our homes because we are civilians. We have been waiting for the Syrian Democratic Forces since the campaign began," Salem al-Aloush, a citizen in the village said.

"Three years ago, Daesh had occupied our villages, they had cut off the water and we are now in a thousand good after the liberation of our village from the abomination of the terrorist Daesh, which is far from Islam," Salem al-Aloush said.

At the end of his speech, al-Aloush said: "In Daesh days, their hatred of civilians has increased, they have imposed many sanctions on us and are beating civilians without any guilt."

While the child Milad Jumma, 10 years, tells the fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces about his pigeons and explain to them the types and number and how to reproduce, and that was due to the joy that he felt as he said.
