Yezidi community: Turkish occupation's attacks on Afrin another Yezidi genocide

A number of Yezidi community's children confirmed that what the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin have done against them by killing, kidnapping and destroying religious shrines is a continuation of what Islamic State's gangs have done against them in Şengal province.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with Yezidi community's children talking about destruction of shrines and religious monuments related to the religion and culture of the Yazidi community by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries where large numbers were forced to leave their villages for fear of committing massacres against them.

Turkish practices against the Yezidis in Afrin is a continuation of what Islamic State's gangs have done against them in Şengal province .The Turkish occupation destroyed our holy sites and places. This aggression can be called the 74th Genocide of Yezidis throughout history and aimed at the Yezidi presence."

Citizen Abdo Khalo from Kafer Zita village belonging to Janders area said “Away from theft, looting, murder and kidnapping, they are trying to annihilate the doctrines and religions existing in Afrin, The Turkish occupation is killing and torturing Yezidis in Afrin, In addition to that, the occupation army destroyed the Yezidi sites, aiming to remove the veins of religion Yezidi."

Citizen Qadrat Batal said "The Turkish occupation army has no right to carry out all these violations against innocent people, why all these actions? Why all this silence by the international community? Why no one stands in front of Turkish terrorism? Is not there anyone who claims to protect human rights? We are human beings and it is our right to live with all our rights. How can a terrorist enemy erase our rights and kill us and kidnap us, We call upon all human rights organizations to intervene to put pressure on Turkey and mercenaries to stop their subversive actions against the peoples ."

It is worth mentioning that since the occupation of Afrin canton hundreds of "women, children, men and the elderly" have been abducted from Yezidi community, and their fate is unknown, not to mention the destruction of religious sites and shrines related to Yezidis where Turkish occupation also destroyed the building of the Yezidi Union.
