Ain Issa District Council: Citizens’ service is our duty

The establishment of Ain Aissa Council coincided with the return of the residents to their homes after 6 years of displacement by IS mercenaries and the previous factions.

From the beginning of its establishment, it began to form councils and communes in the district and its countryside. It works on organizing the organizational and service matters for the people of the area, such as registering the residents in documents to manage their affairs by providing the services they need, in addition to distribution of gas cylinders and heating oil and other services.

The People's Council in Ain Issa district supervises the work of 135 communes in the district and the three towns affiliated with it, "al-Hishah, Ali Bajliah, and the town of Abu Kharza".

The Council monitors the work of the committees in the district and its countryside from municipalities, education, electricity, water and other service matters that concern the citizen, by inviting all the councils and committees in the district to meet on a monthly basis to find out what has been provided to peoples' services.

The council manages the affairs of citizens through the identification documents for those who do not have family statement, identification certificates and ownership of real estate, in addition to registration of cars, and collecting all data of the people of the district and its subsidiaries in the archives office.

Protection Committee" is responsible for protecting the area by maintaining security and stability in the district and guarding the committees of the council. The Social Affairs and Labor Committee which is responsible for overseeing the work of the organizations working in the district and coordinating with them to provide services to the people

While the Culture and Art Committee is interested in the detection and development of talent through training, "Education Committee" to monitor the educational process, "Health Committee" to carry out tours to health centers in the district and access to treatment services for citizens.

The Women's Committee also seeks to organize and develop the role of women in society by encouraging them to attend intellectual and cultural courses to eliminate the thought that has been planted in their minds throughout the ages, and other works related to women.

In this context, the Deputy of co-chair of Ain Issa Council Sawsan al-Humaidi, pointed out that the first and main goal in the Council is to serve the citizen and provide services to him and to stand up to the problems encountered and resolved as much as possible.

The citizens also expressed their satisfaction with the services provided by the Council, and thanked the Council members for providing basic services such as electricity, water, bread and gas cylinders through supervision of the committees to which these services are provided.

The council appealed to provide support to the agricultural sector and livestock breeders affected by the lack of rain this year.
