People from last IS’ positions reached SDF areas

Hundreds of civilians from al-Deshisha area, the last positions of mercenaries on the Iraqi borders, have been able to reach the areas liberated by Syria's Democratic Forces (SDF).

216 civilians arrived from al-Deshisha area on the Iraqi borders, east of al-Shadadi district in al- Hasakah canton after they managed to escape the mercenaries that use them as human shields.

The residents entered the areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Abu al-Sus. According to the escapees, the mercenaries are forcing the civilians to empty their homes to booby-trap them, especially the villages located between the area under their control and the areas liberated by SDF, and the use of some houses as bases to hide from the coalition aircrafts.

According to some fighters at the crossing points, the process of receiving the civilians is entering a new stage of scrutiny and inspection. The displaced are being sent either to their relatives' areas or to the designated camps, including al-Hol camp or al- Arishah camp.
