15 soldiers at least killed in HPG's operations

HPG's media center issued a written statement on Sunday revealing the results of the operations carried out by their forces in Başûr and Bakur Kurdistan.

The text of the statement included:

"In the framework of the revolutionary Victory campaign, our forces launched attacks on military positions related to the Turkish occupation of Gurbûlak town of Bazîd district in Agirî city on May 20 at 7:30 am. The attack resulted in destroying several positions of the enemy and killing several Turkish soldiers. More detailed information on the attacks would be published later.

In the context of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the 2 Martyrs Agirî and Pîroz, our forces carried out an operation in the evening of May 18 at 22:00 against a military convoy of the Turkish occupation that was consisted of several military vehicles in the area between Colemêrg and Çelê district in Bakur Kurdistan. The operation led to destroying the military vehicle completely, and killing 9 soldiers of the Turkish occupation. Then, the Turkish occupation army closed the road.

On May19, within the same revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out an operation at 6:30 pm on Kordina Hill in Çelê district in Colemêrg city. The enemy sites were dealt harsh blows, but we have not known how many soldiers were killed or wounded during the operation. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army bombarded the area with shells.

On the same day at 18:30, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation soldiers on Lêlikan Hill in Başûr. Our forces dealt blows to the enemy’s positions from three sides killing 3 soldiers. After the operation, the Turkish occupation army shelled the area with helicopters.

In the evening of the same day at 20:30, our forces dealt strikes to the positions of the Turkish occupation army stationed on Lêlikan Hill in Şamzyan area of Colemêrg. The strikes led to killing two soldiers of the Turkish occupation and wounded another.

On May 19 at 11:20, our forces carried out an operation against a security point on the Tetwan Xîzanê road. Our forces targeted the point with live bullets resulting in killing a soldier of the Turkish occupation and wounding another. The Turkish occupation army then shelled the area with bombs.

On the same day at 21:30, our forces carried out an operation at the petrol well in the town of Bekirxan in Hezo district of Êlihê city. The operation resulted in destroying the petrol well.
