We to make 18 May historic day for plastic arts in Rojava

The co-chair of the Culture and Art Body in al-Jazeera region Berivan Khalid presented the opening of the exhibition organized by the Culture and Art Body to the Resistance of the Age and said, "We will make 18 May of each year a historic day for plastic arts in Rojava.”

On the margins of Rojava 3rd exhibition of the plastic arts which was opened by the Culture and Art Body, ANHA agency met the co-chair of the Culture and Art Body of al-Jazeera region Berivan Khalid about the objectives of the opening of the exhibition and evaluating it.

In this regard, Berivan said at the beginning of her speech, "In memory of May martyrs and in commemoration of the martyr and the intellectual Haqi Qarar, every year at the level of Rojava and the Syrian north, we hold the plastic arts’ exhibition."

Berivan added, "Afrin artists did not participate in the plastic arts’ exhibition this year due to the circumstances that Afrin underwent, so we present this exhibition to the Resistance of the Age as the least duty that we have to face the great resistance that continues there."

Furthermore, the exhibition of plastic arts at Rojava University is scheduled to last until Sunday.
