May's martyrs commemorated, promise to escalate struggle

The United Revolutionary Movement of the people (HBDH )commemorated the martyrs of May, in the martyrdom of the martyrs of Haqi Qara and Ibrahim Kaypakkaya, and asserted that it would escalate the struggle more.

HBDH issued a written statement today, on the occasion of 18 May, and commemorated all the martyrs.
The text of the statement:
"On May 18, 1973, one of the commander of the Turkish youth movement, Ibrahim Kaypakkaya, was martyred in the Turkish prisons by the fascists in the city of Amad 18 May 1977 The revolutionary and national commander Haqi Qara who revived the resistance, was martyred by the Turkish state in Delok city.

We commemorate the martyrs Halîl Çavgûn, Mehmet Karasûngûr, Îbrahîm Bîlgîn, Armenek Bakrciyan (Orhan Bakir), Ozan Mizgîn, Ferhat Kûtray, Mahmût Zengîn, Eşref Anyik and Necmî Oner who martyred in May in different years.

We pledge to escalate the struggle more in the spirit of resistance shown this month, and we will raise the flag of struggle high.
