Participants in festival: Whoever does not have civilized history wants to wipe others' history

During the fifth festival of culture and art in Rojava which was held under the slogan, “We are all Afrin”, dozens of poets delivered poems in addition to presenting a theater performance about the inevitability of liberating Afrin and the documentaries about the role of the educated to reach the Kurdish people’s voice to the public opinion during the revolts witnessed in several areas in Kurdistan.

In this regard, our agency met a number of the participants in the festival. They pointed out that they wanted to express through the Kurdish art and literature Afrin's support in all ways and to communicate Afrin's voice and resistance to public opinion and to call on the silent world to break its silence .

The co-chair of Kurdish intellectuals Union in Rojava the poet Ahmed Hosseini pointed out in his speech that they seek through the fifth festival to deliver the voice of right and the voice Afrin to public opinion, and how the Kurds are subjected to violations in the eyes of the world which does not move a finger.

Anahida Shikhi, a member of the preparatory committee of the festival said, "The Kurdish stories, poems and theater performances highlighted the need to not give up Afrin through the poems that were delivered which emphasized the adherence to Afrin and the support to its resistance."

It is worth mentioning that Rojava Festival for Culture and Art has previously held in several European cities, while the fifth festival was held on Saturday in Kobanî with the participation of dozens of poets, writers and intellectuals.
