According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, the attack took place around 8 pm when the gunmen stormed the headquarters of the Red Cross in the Somali capital.
The Commission explained that it was in contact with the authorities in an attempt to release her.
Daniel O'Mally deputy president of the International Committee of the Red Cross  in Somalia said, "We are very concerned about the safety of our colleague" ,adding that she is a nurse working every day to save lives and treat the most vulnerable people in Somalia.
Somalia, which plunged into a devastating civil war in 1991 and has experienced an armed insurgency led by the Jihadi youth movement since 1995, is one of the most dangerous countries for humanitarian relief teams, but kidnappings are relatively rare in this country.
