Kurds in Lebanon celebrate World Workers' Day

The Kurds in Lebanon organized on Sunday a celebration on the occasion of World Workers' Day, which occurs on Tuesday, May 1, and hundreds of Kurds participated in the celebration held in Dalb park in the junction of rivers in the capital Beirut.

The celebration began with a minute of silence, then a member of Democratic Society Movement in Lebanon, Adib Hasan, read out statement on May 1 occasion,

"The struggle of the workers' movement against the attitudes of the bourgeois regimes and the expropriation of their rights have a great influence on the development of the labor issue and its rights in pursuing the struggle until it achieves its objectives, the freedom of workers and the general public is blocked by the campaign against the will of women and people and peoples' brotherhood project and their struggle for freedom and democracy.

The workers' revolution and the general free values ​​are targeted in the revolution of Rojava seven years ago and recently was in Afrin, which was faced with heroic struggle and resistance

Then, the representative of the Autonomous -Administration in Lebanon Diyar Qamishlo, on behalf of congratulated Labor Day and congratulated the revolution of Rojava, the fighters of People and Women Protection Units(YPG, YPJ) and Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF).

The ceremony ends with slogans that salute the resistance of the people of North Syria and congratulated the workers for their feast.
