HPG: Turkish occupation confused by our troops' blows

HPG's media center issued a written statement on Monday, in which it gave information on the operations that they had carried out in both Êlihê and Sêrt areas.

The text of the statement included:
"On April 13, between 11:00 and 15:00, our forces carried out two special operations, in which mines were used against the Turkish occupation army in Kevortê hill and Lêlîkan area in Başûr (South Kurdistan). The operations resulted in killing 8 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, and wounding 2 soldiers.

On April 15 at 17:40, our forces carried out an operation against the position of the Turkish occupation army on Kevortê hill, resulted in killing 6 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army and injuring 2 of them.

On April13, our forces carried out an operation using mines in Kellnas near Hawil district in Sêrt against the Turkish occupation army, resulting in killing 1 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army.

On March 22 at 00:30, the Turkish occupation army carried out an attack by reconnaissance aircrafts on Qabljiza area related to Êlihê. On the same day at 02.30 hours, the Turkish occupation carried out intensive raids on the area with warplanes. The bombardment resulted in martyring one of our comrades.

Our fighters’ blows confused the Turkish occupation army that could not advance on the land so that it bombarded the sites where our forces were existed in with weapons carrying chemical gases. In this anti-human attack, two of our fighters were martyred. Furthermore, the Turkish army which expanded the attacks in March26 was forced to withdraw in March 27.
