Martyr Aziz Arab commemorated in Çilaxa

Dozens of Çilaxa and its countryside's residents and representatives of Civil Society organizations participated in a public meeting in conjunction with the 32nd anniversary of the martyrdom of the martyr Aziz Arab.

The meeting began by holding a minute of silence followed by a speech delivered by the director of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) Jahed Hassen, in which he spoke about the path and life of the international martyr Aziz Arab.

Hassen talked about the history of Kurdistan Freedom Movement which is full of vivid examples of the international approach represented by the joining of revolutionaries of various peoples and the struggle for the sake of the peoples’ freedom in addition to sacrificing their lives for their aim.

Hassen pointed out that the Martyr Aziz Arab is considered an example of the international revolutionary model and a model of the culture of co-existence among the Arab Kurdish brothers.

Hassen also stressed that Rojava Revolution embodies today the international spirit and co-existence among the peoples of the area through joining young men and women from different peoples into the ranks of the People and Women's Protection Units (YPG and YPJ) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Furthermore, the meeting ended with chanting the slogans that glorify the martyrs.
