The head’s hands of the so-called Council of Afrin stained with Afrin's people blood

Since the 20th of January of this year and for two consecutive months, attacks by the Turkish occupation army and terrorist gangs continued on Afrin, during which the villages of Afrin and cities and the center of the city were subjected to air raids, cannons, Obis guns, helicopters, in addition to the use of all techniques of war and the reconnaissance. The people of Afrin and the fighters of the People's and Women's Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) and the Syrian Democratic Forces have demonstrated heroic and legendary resistance against these attacks. During this battle, the villages, towns and populated areas, as well as the destruction of archaeological and historical sites and places of worship such as mosques, churches and vital facilities such as hospitals, schools, warehouses, water stations, furnaces, shops and orchards have been destroyed, and that caused significant moral and material damage to the people of Afrin. On the 58th day of the Turkish occupation offensive, hundreds of thousands of Afrin residents were forced to flee their areas and resort to al-Shahba areas.

The government of Justice and Development as well as the Turkish intelligence have long been preparing for the establishment of the so-called Civil Council in Afrin. During the period of the attack on Afrin, officials of the Justice Party and the Turkish Intelligence in the city of Istanbul met with Yekitî officials Fuad Aliko, Ibrahim Berro, Abdul Basset Hamo and others. In March 18, a meeting was held in Entebbe to announce the so-called Afrin Rescue Council’s formation.

Why did the council members flee from Afrin?
During the meeting which about 100 people attended, 46 people were appointed to run the council. Yekitî officials; Ibrahim Berro, Fuad Aliko and Abdul Basset Hamo who had previously met with the Turkish intelligence in Istanbul and proposed the named Hassen Shendi for the presidency of the Council.

The objectives of the council focused on legitimizing the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to Afrin, and called for the people to return to their villages and cities, and for reconstructing Afrin by the families and tribal dignitaries residing in Afrin with the assistance of the Turkish state, as well as the establishment of so-called Security Forces of the youth of the area.

It was later revealed that the members of the so-called Afrin Council, namely Azad Othman, Hassen Shendi, Mohammed Sabri, Fadel Horo, Saeed Suleiman, Ahmed Hassen, Zuhair Ali, Hussein Salmo, Mohammed Korgo, Mohammed Rashid Hamo, Hamdan Sini, Mohammed Yousef, Mohamed Mohamed, Aslan Hassan, Mohamed Ibrahim, Adnan Ahmed Rashid, Ahmed Hassen, Farhad Khourto, Mohamed Sido, Ahmed Subhi, Akash Khalil, Kifah Morad, Salah Hameed, Khaled Al Haj, Fawzi Alo, Mahmoud Baker Arbo, Morjan Ebo, Mahmoud Ebo, and Haydar Hori were moved from Afrin to the cities of Bakur Kurdistan and Turkey at the request of the Turkish MIT in 2013-2014.  At that time, the mercenaries of Jabhat al-Nusra and later IS mercenaries tried to support the attack on Afrin. The task of these people at that time was to support the mercenary gangs and to distort the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Afrin canton.

Hassen Shendi planned to bomb Afrin's garage

It was found that the main reason for the escape of Hassen Shendi who was appointed by the Turkish MIT as the head of Afrin Council from Afrin to Entebbe is that Shendi is the mastermind of the blasting Afrin’s garage near the Health Council building in Afrin, and which was signed on December 26 and resulted in Killing 4 civilians and injuring others. According to officials of Asayîş Rorces, the investigations revealed that Hassen Shendi and three others planned and carried out the explosion. After that, Hassen Shendi and the rest of the people with their families fled from Afrin to the Turkish cities and did not return again.

Hassen Shendi who was formerly responsible for the so-called Free Army has now appointed as the head of the so-called Afrin Rescue Council founded by the Turkish MIT and he said in a statement to the Turkish Anatolia Agency on March 17 this year, "90% of the area of Afrin was freed from the party of the Democratic Union, the party that deceives the people and says that those who attack Afrin are not from the Free Army, but from Jabhat al-Nusra and IS. This party seeks to intimidate the people from these groups. We will hold a conference and we thank the Turkish state which liberated Afrin from these organizations. "
