Democrartic civil administration in al-Tabqa reveals amount aid , promissing more to Afrin people

Afrin has been under attack since 20 janyary , causing martyred more 260 civilians most of them children and women

To support Afrin people agianst Turkish ocupation  , al-Tabqa Council launched campaign to collect denations for Afrin people

The Co-Chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration of al-Tabqa area Hind al-Ali, revealed the amount of donations raised for Afrin residents.

"Our entire region has been through a direct war, especially over the past seven years, and Afrin was the safest city where thousands of families used to flee the ongoing war," Ali said in a statement attended by most of the co-chair of the Executive Council committees and members of civil society in al-Tabqa .

About 700 civilans persons martyred and displaced more than 200,000 others due to of the shelling of the Turksih occupation army against Afrin The citizens of Afrin are living in tragic conditions for the looting, theft, rape and abduction by Turkish-backed mercenary gangs .

Al-Ali stressed Turkey's hostility to the will of Syrai people "However, the Turkish enemy did not accept the democratic nation's project which succeeded in Afrin under the pretext of protecting its alleged borders after fierce resistance by fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)and People and Women Protection Units (YPJ,YPG) in Afrin ."

The Turkish attack on Afrin with a green light of Russia and international complicity in silence on the massacres committed by Turkey against Afrin people .

"In light of the international silence applied, Afrin was exposed for nearly two months to various kinds of barbaric shelling by the artillery and aircraft of the Turkish enemy, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded, mostly children and women ."

The co-chair joint of the Executive Council of the plundering operations taking place in Afrin city "After the occupation of the Turkish enemy and its mercenaries to Afrin and stealing the resources of their people and looting their goods and the displacement of their people."

The statement pointed to the failure of the international community to help to Afrin people "the humanitarian situation there at the lowest levels amid the complete absence of any international support."

Al-Tabqa families participated actively in processing of collecting cash and in kind donations toAfrin people. "After the initiative by al-Tabqa people to open a fund-raising tent under the supervision of al-Tabqa council (three million one hundred and thirty thousand Syrian pounds) were collected ."

The donations also included medical items, according to al-Ali during the statement. "For its part, the health committee in al-Tabqa has collected all available medical supplies (emergency medicines, medicines for chronic diseases and infant formula.(

Support campaigns for the Afrin residents are scheduled to continue.

"We tell Afrin people that we will not stop at this point and will not congratulate the people of our region until your wounds recover and return to the lap of Afrin beloved after cleansing them of the abomination of terrorism and the fascist occupation. We promise our besieged Afrin people which is exposed to all methods of repression, injustice and rape. "We will not stop these violations. All the women of Afrin are exposed to al-Tabqa and expose these practices."
