Study for rehabilitation obstetric hospital, opening health centers in al-Raqqa

ISIS during their control of al-Raqqa city, have destroyed all vital installations and hospitals and transfer some hospitals and health centers to military barracks.

Therefore, Health Committee of al-Raqqa Civil Council and in cooperation with the Syrian organization Rlife seeks to restore and rehabilitate the obstetrics and children's hospital and opening health centers and blood banks.

The study includes first work on demining, rehabilitation and opening of obstetrics and children's hospital, and supporting medical staff of nurses and doctors, appointing administrators and providing logistical services.

The opening of health center and blood bank will be free of charge in Saif al-Dawla neighborhood in al-Raqqa city, with specialized doctors.

In this regard, the head of Health Committee in al-Raqqa Civil Council, Dr. Ahmed Ismail said in a meeting with our agency "The obstetrics and children's hospital will be supported after its rehabilitation and opening, with medical staff and logistical support, and according to the health center in Saif al-Dawla neighborhood is 3-storey will be open in the coming days Coming ".

Ahmed added that Health Committee has granted licenses to 135 pharmacies and will set up a committee to monitor medicines and prices.
