"We are part of Syria, struggle to preserve Syrian national unity"

The office of Diplomatic Relations of TEV-DEM issued a written statement on Sunday to the media and public opinion, a copy of this statement reached Hawar news agency (ANHA). In the statement, the center responded to what has been circulated in the Russian political center recently, the question about the role of the Kurdish people in Syria, Russia considered the attack on North Syria to be an indirect attack on America .

The text of the statement reads is:

"We, in the center for Diplomatic Relations of TEV-DEM, emphasize that we are part of Syria and our struggle and resistance come in the context of preserving Syrian national unity, and we are not in the position of discussion about it at all. There is a Kurdish Cause that needs to be resolved and based on the Syrian national solution. Russia works to consolidate the partition and paves the project. In Afrin, we tried to show one of our aspects of our original belonging to Syria and defended it, and we considered the Turkish attack as the occupation of Syria as a whole, but Russia facilitated the process of Turkish occupation and wants to expand its influence. If there would be conflicts between Russia and America, and if Russia does not dare to confront America directly, no one from the Russian scope would be able to address us, and the attack on us is considered an indirect attack on America.

A few days ago, some conversations appeared from the Russian political community to ask about our role as Kurdish people in Syria, and if we are Syrians? What about our role, as well as what was the opposite of our clear project and the will of our people in unity among the components of the Syrian people?

The national standards that prove the moral and Syrian identity are not manifested in dealing with Turkey or acting according to Russian dictates or accepting to play the role of the regime’s agents. We have our clear line and policy, but neither in our independent line nor in our policy, we exit the Syrian framework. We represent our will, and we are not among the forces that handed over that will to any of the parties, and we did not allow anyone to even steal it. In Afrin, Russia contributed directly to Turkey and handed over a Syrian part to an occupier openly. Today, a group from within Russia wants to charge us and doubt our sovereignty as we are an important party to expose its conspiracy. Russia agrees with Turkey. Is not Turkey the main reason for instability in Syria? What are these trumpets in Russia talking about? Russia is moving terrorists from the south and south-east of Damascus to Idlib as it did about two years ago, and moved whoever were in Darya, and now, it contributes to transfer the terrorists to Afrin too. It is acting as if the transfer would be from one state to another. Is not ending terrorism in a Syrian area and transferring it to another means inequality and discrimination? Russia is making the file of terrorism to be opened and investing and cooperating with Turkey for this, and it opens the way for Turkey to occupy Syria, and whenever there is a talk that says it exists by a decision from Damascus so where is Damascus’s role towards the practices that Russia is doing under this cover?

Russia plays a negative role today, and it has blocked the international negotiations on Syria, the latest of which was the Sochi conference which was a joke. Turkey was entered by Russia to occupy parts of Syria, and it invited the parties to dialogue on the solution. Any solution would be there while it is trying to divide Syria and help Turkey to implement its plans against the Syrian people. , We presented many projects as proposals for the solution and none of them have any indication of division or disdain from the Syrian homeland. Those voices that emerge from the Russian political center must monitor things accurately and read the events and question and compare things. Turkey is located in Syria with the support of Russia, and Russia loots the regime’s decision and will, and it is sorting the terrorist s in Syria for the perpetuation of terrorism and the transfer of war from one area to another. Russia is settling international and regional accounts at the expense of the Syrian people. General efforts must be in the interest of stability and peace in Syria. Our people have suffered decades of injustice, denial and rejection, and the insistence of some on these things despite the changing reality and accelerating events means the separation from reality and daydreams.
