Under the slogan "Youth is the vanguard of change towards the future Syria," the Youth Scientific Institute continues to open its intellectual and scientific courses and provide vocational training for young people in al-Raqqa.

AL-RAQQA -The Youth Scientific Institute opened its 4th session for al-Raqqa youth, which was joined by 35 young men and women who undergo intellectual and vocational training, in addition to raising awareness about life issues and investing their youth energies and abilities in the service of society.

The Institute was opened on 15 June 2017 by the Youths and Sports Committee in al-Raqqa Civil Council.

The lessons received by young people depends on the dialogue between the trainer and the participants to reach the result of the lessons being offered.

Among the courses to be presented at the institute are "History of Syria - Women's History - Criticism and Self-Criticism - Public Speaking - The Importance of Training - Computer Information Courses - and Journalism Lessons on Preparing the News."

The administrator in the Institute Rokin Raqa said " The courses that are opened are to take advantage of the youth's energy and experience in multiple fields to be more effective in their community and to identify themselves more".

In turn, one of the trainees at the session Rowshin Mohammed, said that her participation in the course increased her awareness and knowledge of her ability more.

Rowshin also said that at the beginning of her accession to the session had encountered some difficulties in terms of accepting some ideas, but by knowing what she was able to overcome.

Rowshin continued, "I advise all young men and women to join such courses that increase their awareness and make them active members of their community."
