Agreement on civilians exit from Duma, negotiations on Islam army mercenaries

The Army of Islam mercenaries, which control Duma city, and Russia have reached a partial agreement to evacuate civilians from Duma to Idlib in North Syria, while negotiations are continuing on the fighters' future and their weapons

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said that the negotiations are continuing to reach a final agreement regarding Islam army mercenaries and resolve the outstanding points as there is still more than a point to leave.

The Observatory said that "the partial agreement requires the evacuation of 1300 civilians who want to go to Idlib" in north-west Syria, while negotiations continue to reach a final agreement on Islam army mercenaries.

Sputnik also quoted a security source as saying that 60 buses were being equipped to transport the mercenaries of al-Rahman Corps and their families from Duma in the eastern Gouta to Idlib in the north of the country.

Adding that "the agreement of mercenaries' departure and their families from Duma in the eastern Gouta provides for the departure of the mercenaries of al-Rahman Corps and their families as a first stage, and then the departure of Islam army mercenaries and their families."

"The army has regained control of most of the eastern towns and villages of al Gouta in the Syrian countryside and continues military operations in Duma," the Syrian regime's leadership said on Saturday.
