Kurdish groups, personalities participation in Antep's council to legitimize occupation  

NEWS DESK – Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) parties today released a written statement about "Resistance of the Age" and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on Afrin, and the participation of Kurdish figures and groups in Antep 's council .

The text of the statement:

"Since 20 January last year the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries of the terrorist organizations launched a barbaric aggression on Afrin region which before that aggression was considered a safe and stable area compared to all areas of Syria, which enters its crisis in its eighth year, Representing the will of all social formations in Afrin; it has become a safe haven for hundreds of thousands of Syrians who have fled the areas of violence and tension that are largely responsible for the fascist regime in Turkey and the terrorist mercenary groups used by Turkey along the crisis line as an outlet The agendas and its expansionist ambitions. And the interpretation of the Turkish flag raised in Afrin, and the looting of the terrorist and his groups looted money and the capabilities ofAfrin people. The perpetrators of rape cases shows thier degenerate.

As Afrin's resistance enters its second stage from direct confrontation to its indirect form, which is motivated by the preservation of the lives of civilians and the entire Afrin people and the civilian refugees. Despite the fact that the resistance of Afrin did not calm down, but daily expect the losses of the Turkish occupation army; based on this resistance that it will not rest until the return of Afrin completely as before, and that the Turkish occupation is not only emergency, but written failure and suicide. Despite these great sacrifices and the machine of Turkish killing and destruction, some Kurdish groups and figures who present themselves today and through their suspicious movements in the formation of the so-called board of directors of Afrin and at the instigation and sight of the Turkish intelligence in Entebbe; in a blatant betrayal of these to legislate this Occupation and acceptance of the demographic change in Afrin, which stands behind the Turkish fascist regime, and expose Afrin people to the killing, and the completion of what has not been carried out genocide against the Kurdish people and other peoples in Afrin and all the peoples of North-Syria .

We, the parties signatory to this statement, turn to the Syrian and regional public opinion and in particular to the Kurdish public opinion in Syria and the personalities who met in Antep with a view to legitimizing the Turkish occupation, its legitimacy and its despicable attempt to bless the hands that represented our martyrs more than 1500 persons were martyred most of them form civilians in" Resistence of the Age" We call upon our people to stand against these treacherous schemes, to defame traitors and agents of the enemies of the people and to kill the Kurdish people. We also call on the parties of the Kurdish National Council, It is the same as in the case of the invitees Bro and Aliko. Afrin represents today as in the past, and as in all regions of Rojava and the whole of Syria, it is the national issue. Democracy, the Syrian and Kurdish issue at the same time; and the blood of our martyrs was not cheap for a moment until they come out like these to strike a good example of treachery and mercenary and appear against the sacrifices and gains that have been achieved.

We once again commend the championships of the People Protection Units (YPG) and Women Protection Units (YPJ) and the whole of Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) for what they have done over these years and their generous and offer to grant the Kurdish people and all peoples in North Syria  free and secure life. We, as political parties and forces, affirm that we will not provide any opportunity that will bring the people of Afrin back with dignity and honor to their homes and homes. "
