Launching massive march on Day of Solidarity with Afrin at Kobani

KOBANI -A number of jurists, academics, representatives of women's institutions, intellectuals and writers called on Friday for a day of solidarity with Afrin to denounce the Turkish occupation, aggression and massacres against civilians.

Today, Kobani's people and during the International Day of Solidarity with Afrin took part in a mass demonstration that started shortly before from martyr Akeid square, in which thousands of people took part.

Demonstrators carried banners reading "The Will of the Peoples Above All Plotters," We Are All Afrin " and pictures of the massacres of the Turkish occupation army against civilians. They also raised the flags of the Democratic Society Movement (DEM-TEV), Kongra Star and banners of (YPG, YPJ).

The voices of the participants in the demonstration chanted slogans that salute " Resistance of the Age".

It is noteworthy that March 24 was identified as a global day of solidarity with Afrin, and from the countries where the events will be held for this day most of the cities of Europe, Afghanistan, Hindustan, Canada, Japan, Australia, all cities in Latin America and the United States of America as well as other parts of the world .
