The co-chair of Syrian Democratic Council Relation Office, Gareib Hassou, called on the peoples and components of North Syria to stand united against the ambitions of Turkish state to occupy its territory, expel its inhabitants and commit the most heinous massacres against its safe people, the so-called "free army" called on them not to help the occupier to occupy their land

This came in a brief statement made by the co-chair of Syrian Democratic Council Relation Office Garib Hassou told Hawar news agency about Turkish occupation of Afrin area, and the displacement of its population.

Hassou said at the beginning of his speech that Turkey's ambitions will not stop the occupation and threaten the security of the regions in North Syria only, but will extend to Aleppo and other areas of Syria, in order to hit the project of federalism and brotherhood of peoples.

"Erdogan says that he liberated the territory of Afrin, while he occupied and abandoned its people and committed massacres and destroyed the infrastructure, and unfortunately helped by the sons of Syria, who call themselves "Free Army."

Hassou confirmed that Erdogan is trying to change the structure in Afrin, and he declares every day that he will return the real people to it, while the people in Afrin are the real people and owners of the land.

Hassou called on International Community to address "the colonial and expansionist ambitions of the age dictator Erdogan and to limit the ethnic cleansing he is doing against our people in Afrin."
