TEV-DEM appeals to organizations to carry out their duty to humanitarian situation in Afrin

NEWS DESK-The Executive Body of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) appealed to all human rights and humanitarian organizations and organizations to shoulder their responsibilities for serious action and to take quick steps to ensure the lives of detainees in Afrin, especially children, women and patients.

The Executive Body of Democratic Society Movement( TEV-DEM) asserted that Turkey's practices are an occupation and violation of Syrian sovereignty and aim at displacing a peaceful people from its regions, villages, farms and property in order to expand the sphere of influence and control of Syrian geography, which raises the Turkish flag as if it were from the states of Turkey.

The Executive body of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a statement to the public regarding the poor humanitarian situation in Afrin under domination of the Turkish occupation forces and its  gangs on the city.

 The text of the statement :

 "After a heroic resistance in which the components of our people in Afrin city attacked the Turkish killing machine and defied the warplanes that did not provide even populated houses, infrastructure, hospitals, places of worship, schools and archeological sites, our people were people to register another address alongside the resistance and heroine Kobani and  Afrin city , Once again, the will of the peoples is stronger than the weapons and techniques of war and annihilation practiced by the brutal and fascist forces against the peoples who seek their purpose in freedom and democracy and seek to consolidate the values ​​of co-existence, peace, security and community building as guaranteed by all the covenants and charters Anonah and the UN force in the world.

In the midst of events and developments that have escalated recently and in the face of escalating Turkish barbaric and intensive bombing of aircraft against civilians in an attempt to humiliate them because of their attachment to their land and the results that resulted in the escalation in which the number of civilian casualties increased, the Civil and Military Administration in Afrin decided to ensure the exit of civilians and evacuated the residents In a strategic move to preserve their lives and harm their families as well as in a qualitative step to make the battlefield with the Turkish forces fascist and with them of terrorists open to options to defend of Afrin city and not allow the Turkish occupation to include In the occupied areas of Jarablus and Azaz and the delivery of those areas through Afrin  to Adlib city occupied by ( al-NusraFront/Jabhit al-Nusra ) and Fatah al- Sham, which are the most terrorist forces supported by Turkey.

The choice made to secure the lives of civilians stems from the will and determination of the resistance forces to carry out their sacred duty and national tasks. But the alarming and serious humanitarian catastrophe is the presence of some people in the center of the city occupied by the terrorists and at the first hour to close all roads and Outside civilians and preventing those who remain from leaving or leaving. This poses a great danger to their lives and what can be called the detention of civilian hostages in war, which is contrary to the universal values, ethics and international laws and humanity.

We in the Executive body of Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) condemn and strongly denounce these practices, which are based on full conviction and a clear faith in the approach of genocide and massacres, express the culture of terrorism and apply its morals which are not of humanitarian standards. We also strongly appeal to all human rights organizations and organizations to carry out their responsibilities And to take urgent steps to ensure the lives of the detainees in Afrin, especially with children, women and patients. We also appeal to the world community to express its responsibilities as well as to the illegal Turkish practices which can not be Describing it only as occupation practices and violation of Syrian sovereignty and the displacement of peaceful people from its regions and villages, farms and property in order to expand the sphere of influence and control of the Syrian geography, which raises the Turkish flag as if it were from the states of Turkey.

In conclusion, we emphasize that we will not back down from supporting and developing the option of resistance and struggle until the liberation of Afrin and restoring security to it and securing the return of the people and the people to it and restoring normal life to it so that Afrin is a point for victory that is unparalleled in modern history in  North of Syria.

Long live the resistance of Afrin.
