11 security incidents in 24 hours leave 6 dead and 11 injured

Over the past 24 hours, various regions in Syria witnessed a series of crimes, sporadic acts of violence, and explosions, according to our agency.

In the Homs countryside, a child was killed and another injured when a landmine exploded in the Jabal al-Amour area while they were herding sheep.

Additionally, a member of the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government was killed and others were injured in similar incidents in the Raqqa countryside.

Two members of the Syrian Interim Government forces were killed and three others wounded in an explosion inside the headquarters of the 9th Division in the city of Sanamayn, Daraa.

Meanwhile, a young man was injured in the village of Sabaa Sakour in the Hasaka countryside by a similar landmine explosion.

In the Damascus countryside, the town of Ain Tarma witnessed tensions following an attack by relatives of wanted individuals on a police station. The attack stemmed from a dispute that escalated into a clash, amidst conflicting accounts of the incident. Several participants were arrested after security forces intervened.

Two separate incidents occurred in Palmyra. The first involved two young men being wounded by direct gunfire, while the second targeted a house with a hand grenade. There is no confirmed information regarding casualties.

In the countryside of Sarin, east of Aleppo, a young man was killed and another wounded by gunfire from armed men while they were in farmland. The motives remain unknown.

In the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, government forces targeted several oil refineries in the town of Dhiban, resulting in loud explosions heard throughout the area.

These incidents reflect the ongoing security risks and the lingering effects of war in several regions, amid the absence of comprehensive official casualty figures.
