Zenobia Women's Gathering launches campaign to combat violations against women

The Zenobia Women's Gathering Council in the Raqqa district of North and East Syria announced the launch of an awareness campaign titled "With Women's Organization, Society Unites." The campaign aims to confront the violations against Syrian women at the societal and familial levels, as well as to address practices that target women's rights and status. The campaign was attended by a wide range of activists and members of women's organizations and civil society organizations.

The campaign was announced in a statement delivered by Bushra Al-Ali, a member of the Council's Training Office. She explained that the campaign seeks to empower women and support them in confronting various forms of violations, emphasizing that "a strong, organized woman is capable of having a positive impact on society as a whole."

The statement emphasized that women are naturally entrepreneurial, and that the Council will continue its efforts to serve as a protective shield for women by raising awareness of their rights and enhancing their participation in various fields, in addition to encouraging cooperation and the exchange of experiences, leading to a free, democratic society.

The Council called on all women to join the campaign and work together to achieve its desired goals, emphasizing that women's solidarity can bring about real change and build a better future for all. The campaign will span an entire month, including field activities and meetings in the city and towns, with the goal of reaching the largest possible number of women and providing them with support as they face challenges.
