The General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) issued a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz, congratulating the Kurdish people and the families of martyrs, and affirming the continuation of the struggle for freedom.

The General Command explained that its struggle has transcended local boundaries to take on a global dimension, particularly in defending women's rights and confronting patriarchal systems. It asserted that the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom" now expresses the aspirations of women worldwide.

The statement highlighted that Eid al-Fitr embodies the triumph of human will and the strengthening of moral and social values. It emphasized the importance of consolidating the principles of justice, equality, and solidarity among all segments of society.

The statement concluded by stressing the continuation of the struggle against all forms of domination, and working towards a future of peace and freedom, based on the martyrs' sacrifices.
