Woman dies by suicide in northern Jal Agha countryside

The Crime Prevention Center and Kongra Star in the city of Jal Agha reported a case of suicide involving a 48-year-old woman identified as (H. A. A.), a resident of Qastepan village, which belongs to Kishk town in the northern countryside of Jal Agha.

The Crime Prevention Office, Kongra Star, and the Women’s House in Jal Agha received a report concerning the death of a woman identified as (H. A. A.), while respecting her privacy and withholding her full name.

According to details of the incident, the 48-year-old woman took her own life this morning inside the livestock shelter at her family home in Qastepan village, located in the northern countryside of Jal Agha in the Al-Yan area.

Following the report, teams from the Crime Prevention Office, accompanied by women’s institutions in Jal Agha, went to the scene and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.

According to a report issued by the Crime Prevention Office, preliminary investigations concluded that the death was the result of suicide, while indicating that family disputes were behind the incident.

According to information provided by residents of the village, the woman had been married to a man from the city of Girkê Legê, but separated from him about a year ago and subsequently moved back to her parents’ home.
