Vigil at Tishrin Dam: High morale and determination to protect dam

For the second day, thousands of residents from North and East Syria spent their night at Tishrin Dam, affirming their continued presence until the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are halted. They declared, "Our morale is high, and we will protect the dam."

In groups, the people of North and East Syria are taking turns guarding Tishrin Dam and spent their second night there with great enthusiasm.

Today, ANHA agency's correspondent, Dajla Ahmed, who is accompanying the convoy, documented some scenes of the people at Tishrin Dam, which has been under attack by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries since December 8, 2024.

Despite the cold weather, the people are determined to protect Tishrin Dam, which is a national and vital facility for the entire population of Syria.

One of the groups guarding Tishrin Dam, warming themselves with a tea stove, confirmed, "Our morale is high, and we will protect the dam."

On Wednesday, thousands of people from the Cantons of Jazer, Raqqa, Tabqa, and Euphrates, including Kurds, Arabs, and Syriacs, headed towards Tishrin Dam to stop the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and to protect the dam, which is a critical facility in the region of North and East Syria.

While the convoy was reaching the outskirts of the city of Serrin, the Turkish occupation bombed the convoy heading to Tishrin Dam, resulting in the martyrdom of three civilians and injuring 15 others, some of whom are in critical condition.
