U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said today that talks to end the war in Iran are gaining momentum, despite the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military campaign against the country for more than a month.

Hegseth told reporters that the negotiations are "very real, ongoing, and active, and I believe they are gaining momentum."
