US Army shoots down 4 drones

The US Central Command said it shot down four drones launched in an area of Yemen controlled by the Iran-backed Houthi.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) published in a statement on the (X) platform: “At approximately 3:16 p.m. (Sanaa time) on May 22, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces successfully engaged four uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) in an Iranian-backed Houthi controlled area of Yemen."

Centeral Command said that: “uncrewed aerial system posed an immediate threat to its forces and merchant ships in the area.”
