Male and female activists in Turkish prisons continue their resistance in its new phase for the 179th day, denouncing the strict isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities against leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanding his physical freedom.

The activists of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Kurdistan Women's Freedom Party (PAJK), detained in prisons in Turkey and northern Kurdistan, began a hunger strike on November 27, 2023.
On April 4, it entered a new phase, represented by boycotting the courts, family visits, and speaking on the phone, denouncing the strict isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities against leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanding his physical freedom.
