The UN High Commissioner for Refugees confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the province has worsened despite the decline in fighting, with widespread collapse of infrastructure and a near-total halt of public services in several towns.

The United Nations reported that Suweida’s hospitals are facing severe shortages of medical staff, water, electricity, and vital supplies, at a time when most residents are entirely dependent on humanitarian aid.
