Two initiatives to transport students, families from Aleppo to NE Syria 

This morning, the Drivers' Union in Raqqa sent 50 buses to transport students for free from the Tabqa crossing to Raqqa. Additionally, 9 buses and 10 mini-buses departed from the Tabqa bus station today heading towards Aleppo to transport families and students from North and East Syria.

The mercenaries of "Hayat Tahrir al-Sham" began invading the city of Aleppo on Friday afternoon, leading to a mass displacement from the city.

Yesterday, the Drivers' Union in Raqqa sent over 60 buses to transport students from the Sha'ar bus station in Aleppo to Raqqa.

Hassan Al-Khabour, the manager of bus stations in Raqqa, told ANHA agency: "Coordination has been made between the Autonomous Administration and the Drivers' Union to secure transportation for students from Aleppo to Raqqa."

Al-Khabour confirmed, "Today, 50 buses and private mini-buses were sent from the Tabqa crossing to Raqqa to transport families and ensure their safe arrival to their families, free of charge. The Fuel Directorate provided fuel for the vehicles participating in the initiative for free."

Al-Khabour explained that the Autonomous Administration began securing residents and providing medical points at the Al-Bouasi crossing in Tabqa Canton. He noted that the numbers are large, and it is not expected that the arrival of students and residents will be completed soon.

Al-Khabour also noted that the Drivers' Union confirms the identification of students upon arrival, saying: "This is not the first initiative launched by the Drivers' Union, and we are ready to ensure the safe arrival of our families and students."

For his part, Mahmoud Al-Omr, the co-chair of the Drivers' Union in Tabqa Canton, said: "This initiative was launched by the Tabqa Municipalities Union in coordination with the Drivers' Union."

Al-Omr confirmed: "We have taken all necessary measures in terms of preparing transport vehicles and coordinating with the responsible authorities (border management, customs, fuel department) to facilitate the exit and return of vehicles."

Al-Omr explained: "These initiatives are a humanitarian and ethical duty towards our people stranded in Aleppo, and we will ensure their safe arrival to the region free of charge to ease their burden."

Since yesterday morning, the Al-Bouasi crossing in the Raqqa countryside has witnessed heavy traffic from residents and students of North and East Syria returning from Aleppo to Euphrates Canton.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria had earlier called for facilitating the movement of families and students returning to their areas and providing the necessary support for them.
