The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries launched an attack on the countryside of Ain Issa city in the Euphrates Canton, following leader Abdullah Ocalan's call for peace.

The Turkish forces and their mercenaries targeted the village of Al-Saramda, located in the eastern countryside of Ain Issa, using artillery and heavy weapons.

In his statement titled "The Call for Peace and a Democratic Society," leader Abdullah Ocalan said: "The second century of the republic can only achieve unity and lasting continuity if it is crowned with democracy. Without democracy, searching for and implementing systems is impossible. Democratic consensus is the fundamental approach."
