Turkish occupation forces prevent residents of village in S.Kurdistan from accessing their properties

The Turkish occupation army has barred residents of the village of Koherza, located in the Amedi district of Southern Kurdistan, from reaching their orchards and agricultural lands. The forces informed them that "no individual has the right to approach or enter these areas without our authorization. This is a military zone under our full control, and no one may visit it without permission."

According to Roj News Agency, the Turkish occupation army established checkpoints in the area, preventing dozens of villagers from accessing their lands. Residents who attempted to reach their orchards were detained by soldiers for five hours before being ultimately denied entry and forced to return home.

The occupation forces reportedly informed approximately 75 villagers that access to these areas is strictly prohibited without their consent, citing the region as a military zone under their complete control. Additionally, the forces conducted inspections and confiscated the villagers' mobile phones.
